For this project, the client, Christiana, wanted me to make edits to their previous book and create a completely new cover design.
The page design required extensive edits. However, most of these were content changes such as sentence edits, punctuation changes, and chapter alterations. In particular, the author wanted to add and remove details from the original book. Still, due to archiving issues with the original design files, I had to re-create the interior completely from scratch in Adobe.
On the other hand, the cover design was a cleaner process that I designed from the ground up. The only elements I maintained from the old cover were the text styles. I created the cover image using assets from free stock sites like Freepik.com.
