For this 3D packaging project, students needed to transition from 2D to 3D composition and produce a 3D package design for a luxury good. The product could be hand cream, hand sanitizer, or a healthy beverage. I decided to work with hand sanitizers.
We received some starting specs, designed the label, and tested its aesthetic on a CG model. Afterward, we needed to create real-world mockups, which would ideally match the CG models as closely as possible.
I created the final digital models using Adobe Dimension.
My Sketches
I created the following sketches while conceptualizing my product. I chose to create luxury hand sanitizer bottles. While we only had to create one label design, I chose to create my product around the theme of the four seasons. Thus, I had to conceptualize four label designs that were unique to their seasons but still unified in their aesthetic.
