This was a part of an extra credit assignment for my Graphic Design History class. The objective was for students to create a new logo design for the ORU band NuVoices. The band planned to select one of the students’ logos for their rebranding.
The student who made the chosen design would be financially compensated alongside gaining extra credit in the class.
The parameters were as follows: create a logo that ideally includes the name and golden coloring present in their previous logo design. They were not looking for a specific style from the submissions.
After testing out several potential solutions in Adobe Illustrator, I settled on the title-to-microphone composition and created three color variations of the solution.
